Somers SEPTA “ADHD Goes to School: Academic Success with Less Stress”

February 9 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST

ADHD is far more than a disorder of attention, affecting cognitive abilities called executive function that manage our behavior, emotions, long-term thinking, and overall academic independence.  Executive function is a foundation for learning, affecting students’ ability to organize, plan, collaborate, read, write, and more.  At home and school, a comprehensive plan addresses these far-reaching developmental effects of ADHD.  This talk will emphasize a four-part, practical plan that sets up your child for a more successful, less stressful school experience.
